SCHOOL!!!!
SCHOOL!!!!
After spending a little over 6 months looking for work in my line of work, and failing to find a job I decided to enroll in school after many signs I hept getting lead me to do so.
I've spent the last 20 years or so in the Admin/clerical field. over those 20 years the job has changed, but my skills never were able to catch up with the industry.
So, going back to school to get an AA in a field I've ALWAYS been passionate about - Early Childhood Education - makes perfectly good sense to me.
I'm understandably scarred (sp?) about this new journey, but also VERY excited!
So, please tell me your stories and help keep me inspired as I start the 1st leg of my journey.
Peace and love to all!!
XOXOXO....Miss Beth :)

School
So, here it is November and school is going swimmingly, although at times I feel like I'm drowning from the homework!!!!
I do an internship in the morning before I go to class, which I TOTALLY love by the way!
Class is from 12:45-3:15 PM every day, and then it's home to do that homework I've mentioned.
While there are days I wonder if this is the correct path, my friends and my VERY supportive husband keep me on it.
I do worry some days about the "how" of goig to school and not having a job, but I just keep pushing on and prayin the money will just come.
I've applied for scholarships, but I have heard nothing to this point. I'm finding that a lot of scholarship granters want just as much info about finances as the financial aid people do, and of course the income I do have in my household puts us JUST OVER the edge to qualify!
My question to you all is, what are creative ways you've found to get the financial help you need to go to school, especailly when taking out a student loan is NOT an option?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
OXOXOXO....Miss Beth
